Noble Hire is looking for a Java Developer in Sofia, Bulgaria.

We’re looking for a Java Developer who is an amazing troubleshooter, able to solve hard problems (the ones that you won’t gonna find on StackOverflow), who is expected to design and build solutions and seeks to grow as team leader mentoring junior and intermediate developers. It is important that you value clean code, tests, architecture, and good design.

Projects you will be working on

Noble Hire is a job board with a focus on employer branding, culture-fit matching, and crowd-sourced referrals. Some of the features that help us stand apart are:

  • Detailed company profiles, including information on culture, perks, benefits, etc.
  • Crowd-sourced hires. Employers can post a bounty and our network of referrers will help fill the position.
  • Complex job-seeker and referer rating system.

Programming expertise

Excellent understanding of the Java/Spring technology stack plus a good understanding of front-end technology (e.g. React/Angular/Vue).

Work independently

Able to deliver working products within deadlines – from empty Git repo to fully-deployed solution in the cloud.

Amazing troubleshooter

Unlike with hardware, turning it off and on again doesn’t really work with code. You should be able to deep-dive into any bug & issue and figure out a solution, no matter how many Google searches it takes.
