Requirements

Programming expertise: 3+ years experience in software development. Preferably experience with scripting languages, e.g. Python, Ruby etc.

Test-driven development: Commitment to testing would be a plus.

Data enthusiast: Strong experience with Data Scraping techniques. Experience with Data Mining techniques, Elasticsearch, FULLTEXT search techniques, Celery, Redis, async.io will be considered an advantage.

Interest/Experience in NLP would also be beneficial.

Responsibilities

Juggle with data: Develop high-quality and performant data processing solutions.

Set high standards: Promote code quality through establishing standards, reviewing code and pairing.

Build web-crawlers: Extract publicly accessible information about private and public companies worldwide. Extract open government information about public procurement, grants and other budgetary actions.

Drive innovation: Brainstorm, collaborate, provide solutions in a creative way.

Mentor others: Provide guidance to junior developers and newcomers.
