We are looking for an experienced UI UX Designer, who delivers an outstanding user experience combined with balanced and modern visual elements. The Designer will be responsible for creating the best user experience for our clients, big corporations in the insurance and reinsurance sector, providing their customer satisfaction.

About the project:

Our project is a commercial insurance pricing tool for medium-sized companies. It allows the user to capture all necessary exposure data, apply advanced terms and conditions, value the risks and calculate the cost of the policy.

The complexities of this project are non-trivial business logic, a large amount of processed data and problems of service integration. If you like to work on a stable long-term project with a well-established agile development process apply today.

About you and your day to day responsibilities:

• Design high-quality mockups and clickable prototypes

• Work on both custom solutions for our clients and on our own products

• Optimize existing user interface designs

• Interact with key developers and product owners (internal or on client-side)

• Present your design ideas to internal and external stakeholders, gather feedback to validate the final product design

• Always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions

• Participate in building our brand

• Understanding of typical UI components (grid, cards, panels, menus, modals, navbars, media-objects etc.);

• Web-forms usability knowledge (standard controls, user data, fields and labels, input types, layout, multiscreen forms, validation patterns);

• Knowledge of core UX theory (Fitts's law, consistency, proximity etc.)

• Figma excelence (components, libraries, autolayouts, variants, prototyping);

• Experience with responsive design strategies;

• Familiarity with agile methods (agile, scrum, MVP, iterations, evolution vs revolution etc.);

• Written and oral explanatory skills (explain states of component in simple words);

• Overall understanding of HTML, CSS, SVG and features, important for UX;

• Typography skills (type scale, measurement units, contrast, variable fonts, opentype features etc.);

• Color theory and skills (hue, tint, tone, color spaces e.g. RGB, HSL, LCH, measuring color, tools, accessibility, color palettes principles);

Will be a plus:

Icon design or illustration experience

Framer, Protopie, Flow experience

Accessibility knowledge

HTML-CSS scills
